In these last days God is raising up a remenant on the earth. Those who will stand in the gap for the nations, cities, families and for His church. The midnight prayer is crucial to taking up the position on the wall in the night watches, to standing firm and waring in the spirit. Groups of women stronger on their knees.
“I don’t think there has ever been a time that I attended a WoW midnight watch that the Holy Spirit didn’t show up! Each time I’ve made myself available by simply being there to pray, God has done wonderful things through me and others that have attended. The nights are filled with impressions, visions and words from the Lord that have letft everyone amazed and encouraged. It’s great that even though we are praying for others, God is able to speak through everything that occurs and addresses our own needs as well. If you’re worried about missing out on sleep, I dare you to put that to the side and attend anyway. You don’t have to a “super Christian” to come, but you will most certainly grow spiritually as a result! Just bring a willing and expectant heart and let God do the rest!

“We pray together over the phone early on a Wednesday morning. Prayer is what motivates me and where I am happy to be so when there is a call to pray I am happy to be there. I believe I am called to intercede which is something by His grace I am slowly but surely building on. God has not specifically revealed anything to me about being involved but I know in myself that I should be.”
Paulina Amoako (West Noorwood IPG)
“I first attended the WoW midnight watch prayer because I felt like it would stretch me. I was, of course worried about fatigue - I come from Essex to Greenwich, it’s a trek! - but I felt a tug on my heart to go. I must say that God is so good, because I never felt disappointment or loss of time, sleep or otherwise anytime I attended. (though one morning at around 5:30 while praying I fell asleep for about 3 minutes) To know that God was right there in the room with us as evidenced by the presence of angles (seen in the spirit). To feel His love and be able to minister to others and be ministered to yourself! What an honour. God is alive, and prayer is powerful. Just GO! You won’t regret it! ”

“Since the beginning of my walk with God some 15 years ago, the Lord has given me a burden for prayer. Over the years I have grown deeper in understanding and ability in the area of prayer and more specifically intercession. God has called me to stand in the gap for people, for cities and for nations. The last 15 years has been a continual preparation and refining of this gift and I believe that by being part of an IPG I am answering what the Lord is calling me to in such an important season in history. The ushering in of His return.”
